What we Do.
The E.R.I.C. Initiative Foundation is a social justice organization dedicated to eradicating systemic racism and enforcement brutality.
On July 17,2014, Eric Garner was killed in the New York City borough of Staten Island after Daniel Pantaleo, a New York City Police Department(NYPD) officer, put him in a prohibited chokehold while arresting him. Since that time, countless other men and woman of color have been brutalized at the hands of law enforcement. The E.R.I.C. Initiative Foundation was created to do the grass roots work necessary to drive awareness of the continuing problem of the police brutality in out country, and to bring it to and end.
